What would you feed me…Ginger? 

Rather unusual for this blog, this week’s post has been a meat-free, wheat-free and sugar-free challenge as the lovely Elaine invited me to cook for her!

I met Elaine through our weekly Fiesta Friday event at Angie’s, where we meet up each Friday to share recipes and other stuff. It’s a wonderful community – you’d be surprised what you can find there! Elaine is such a wonderfully conscious cook, and despite her clear rules she regularly surprises me with the food she prepares – without meat, wheat, sugar or alcohol, basically the staples of my own diet. This week we are joined by a superstar blogger (and soon to be superstar TV cook – read about it on her blog!), the lovely GingerfromGinger and Bread.   1. great cooking! And so easily transformed into a not-free menu, for those who are in need of their carbohydrates and so on- especially vannila sauce for the grütze!
